Most of our customers come to us because something at home is changing. You are moving and the dates do not line up. You are renovating and need to clear the rooms. You are downsizing, merging households, or simply tired of a garage you cannot park in. Household storage at Self Storageland gives your belongings a safe place to wait while you sort things out.
We have a range of unit sizes and configurations, flexible rental agreements and staff who will help you choose the right space. You can store for a few weeks or a few years, and visit your unit during access times when you need something.

- Renovating or painting and needing empty rooms

What you can store
Furniture, appliances, beds, boxes of books and kitchenware, clothing, toys, garden furniture, bicycles and much more. For wooden furniture, artwork, photographs and electronics, a climate-controlled unit can help protect against heat and humidity.
Your rental agreement lists items that may not be stored, such as dangerous or perishable goods.
Making the move easier
Packing well protects your things and saves space. We sell packing boxes in various sizes, bubble wrap, heavy-duty tape and plastic bags on site. If you would rather not do the lifting, our move-in transport service sends trained movers to pack, load, transport and unload your goods into your unit, for a fee quoted upfront.
Peace of mind while you are away
Your household goods are protected by 24-hour CCTV, controlled and logged access, security patrols, bright lighting and perimeter fencing. We recommend using your own padlock and checking whether your home or contents policy covers items in storage. Read more about our facility and security.
Find the right size
The contents of a one-bedroom flat usually need a different unit from a family home. Our unit sizes page explains the general categories, and our staff will recommend a size once they know what you are storing. Request a quote or call us on 011 041 6166.
